dining Areas
The main dining room is located on the first floor at the center core of each building and has a seating capacity of fifty residents. Our meals are served at two separate sittings, in an attempt to accommodate those who prefer an early or not so early mealtime.
On admission, you will be assigned a particular table according to your mealtime preference. We will attempt to seat you with people who are compatible to yourself, but if you have any concerns, please contact either the Dietary Supervisor or the Director of Care to be re-assigned to another table.
Adjoining the main dining room in the hotel building (181) is our Private Dining Room. This area seats up to ten (10) at one table and is used for special events such as birthdays, anniversary's or just dining with family or friends. The private dining room must be reserved ahead of time through the Dietary Supervisor.
Our Secured Dining Room is located in the residence building (175) in the Assisted Living Area. Residents' who require assistance with their meals utilize this dining room.
Meal Times
In our on-going attempt to please our residents', we offer the following
times for the serving of meals:

To assist our dietary staff in clearing the dining room after each meal, we would ask that while we want you to sit and enjoy your dessert and coffee, we request that you do not linger too long after your meal, but perhaps carry your conversation out to one of the lounge areas. If you plan to be late for a meal or out of the facility during your mealtime, we will endeavor to make alternate arrangements for you. Please speak with the Dietary Supervisor prior to your mealtime. top
Special Diets
Our meals are nutritious, varied and well planned. We are most desirous
that everyone receives satisfaction in the dining room. Arrangements can
be made to meet your special dietary needs by speaking with the Dietary
Supervisor on admission. We will make arrangements for any dietary need.

With no household chores, residents enjoy "protected" independence.
Niagara Arms caters to their every need. Linens are supplied, housekeeping
and personal laundry service are provided. Appetizing home cooked meals,
prepared in an immaculate kitchen, are served in the dining room. Between-meal
refreshments and snacks are available too. top
We do provide the following standard house diets:

" Low fat
" Dialyzing diet
" High protein/fiber
Consulting dieticians provided through the local hospital and through
the company are available to our kitchen staff and assists in the preparation
of our menus and any special diets. We are not always able to cater to
individual preferences and your personal food likes or dislikes.
